In The Valley Of Elah
One writer/director whose films I can guarantee I’ll review is Paul Haggis, because I will never ever again make the mistake of watching one.
Having said that, I must admit that In The Valley Of Elah was a very touching (and timely) story. Tommy Lee Jones plays Hank Deerfield, an African-American retired Army sergeant. Hank’s son was supposed to have returned from a tour in Iraq, but Hank can’t find anyone who’s seen him.
Later, his son turns up OK, though — he was in the valley of Elah the whole time. (Spoiler alert!)
I couldn’t find any pictures from the movie, but since it’s kind of a downer, I thought you’d enjoy this really cute picture of a baby orangutan clinging to its mother.
