Lust, Caution
Ang Lee has a reputation for being a “literary” filmmaker and I have to agree, because who else could find a way to put in a comma when there is only two words.
This movie is saucy saucy saucy, and it’s hard for me to describe without using potentially inflammatory terms that you would see on a porno DVD cover, so I won’t try. However, I will tell you that it’s hot, it has lots of Asians, and also that there is some action.
The Hollywood Reporter called Lust, Caution a “lugubrious spy epic,” which is a totally hot way to describe it. It’s also a smart change of pace for Lee, because his last porno featured two dudes who looked like they could have used some lugube.

I’m guessing that the Hollywood Reporter guy was up $10 from his buddy on a wager as to who first got “lugubrious” picked up in a pull quote. You should get another fiver for the derivation.
