Get Smart
YES! I’ve been waiting all year for the new Steve Carell movie! That last one was so– oh, wait no it must have been the one before that one. No, that was Evan Almighty. Alright, fuck it. I hate that guy.
Anyways, this was a great time at the movies for me. Get Smart had lots of references to some old TV show, so everybody under 65 was quiet because they didn’t know what was happening. So I could hear the dialog real good.
The old people were pretty quiet too because I guess the movie wasn’t enough like the TV show. But you can’t please those people. I mean jeez if you want to watch the TV show I think it’s on DVD. But anyways the old people weren’t totally quiet because you know how loud they eat.
I would have to recommend this movie to everybody who thinks these things are funny:
- talking to a shoe
- saying “would you believe”
- a lot of doors
- not caring whether the movies you act in are any good

Get Smart looks okay overall, though Steve Carell seems to be veering more and more toward slapstick-style humor
