Disaster Movie

posted by kevin, in Comedy

The last time we visited writer/producer/director Jason Friedberg’s IMDb page (when we reviewed Meet The Spartans in January), the message board looked like this:

Let’s see, that’s three complaints, one demand for an apology, one death threat, and one question as to whether he is from LA (with the only response being from someone who wants to saw Friedberg’s head off).

Let’s see where we’re at today:

I score this as two death threats and four complaints (if “complaint” can be defined as someone who’d rather watch their own child bleed to death than watch Disaster Movie).

So the data show that negative reactions are trending upward for Mr. Friedberg. I also see an upward trend in the level of commitment and organization — in seven months his fans have gone from general complaints to a call for organization, and from a request to have him murdered to an actual promise to do it personally.

His poor, poor mother.
