The Longshots
Rapper Ice Cube continues his assault on white-owned America with this independently made and financed drama.
In The Longshots, Ice Cube plays Curtis Plummer, a former high-school football star who comes at his 12-year-old niece (Keke Palmer) at a crazy pitch. And she looks just like him — light brown and a fly hairdo.
Cube shot the follow-up to The Longshots at the same time as the first movie, so keep an eye out this Christmas for more of Curtis Plummer and his niece in the baseball-themed sequel Longshots 2: The Nappy Dugout.
